We are pleased to announce the launch of COLSAC's official YouTube Page! We are a YouTube Non-Profit Partner which gives us a greater opportunity to reach out to our friends, members and supporters. We have been given extended privileges that allow us to broadcast entire plays, episodes and film projects without the 10 minute limit. We plan on uploading plays, Award Ceremonies and various other events COLSAC has done since it first opened its doors in Hollywood in 1996. Be a part of this historic event, by subscribing to COLSAC and adding it as a friend and telling your friends about it. If you would like to see work you produced at COLSAC or plays you were in on our Official YouTube and/or COLSAC.org, please contact us at 310-601-7770 or email us back, so we can get a copy of your footage. The benefits of having your work online for the world to see is pretty self explanatory.
We are pleased to announce that our film, "In The Closet" is going to theaters October 30, 2009. We have been hard at work on this project for almost a year, doing pick-up shots and new edits to make this project as close to perfect as we can. This has been a long road and we have been to the festivals and back, receiving "Best Religious Film" at the 2009 San Diego Black Film Festival as well as a limited release to theaters, but we knew we wanted a perfect product before we let the world see it and UFC Champion, Kimo Leopoldo, was exactly what we were looking for! We are blessed to have received Kimo Leopoldo as the newest addition to our cast as our story's main antagonist and we are happy to say that our film is ready for theaters.
Though our film is finished, our work has just begun. We are asking all our friends, fans, associates, staff, members and relatives to spread the word about this film. We have set up a website for "In The Closet" (www.intheclosetmovie.com) and our second official trailer has just been put on YouTube as well as our sites and partner's sites. We are asking that you watch the trailer, give us your opinions as well as rating and commenting the trailer on YouTube. This may not seem like a lot of help but the more people see our trailer, the more buzz we can create, so we are also asking you to pass at least 10 people you know. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Also, we would like to remind you to become a member of COLSAC.org if you aren't one now. It is free to sign up, and by being a member, we will be in contact with you when we begin casting for our next project, "Sistah Girl, The Movie".
