I Feel Like Going On
The Rapturous beauty of gospel music and the ancient power of Greek myth combined in this award winning musical that has had audiences dancing in the aisles from Broadway to Europe and back again. I Feel Like Going On is an exuberant retelling of Sophocles’ classic Greek drama Oedipus at Colonus set in a place we all know (heaven). The story unfolds as Oedipus comes to a place name Colonus to die. With a rousing gospel and blues score written by many well know singers. This adaptation is inspired by the joyous faith at the heart of African American Christianity.
